Malopolska Scientist Night has exceeded our wildest expectations. During the whole night we were visited by over 400 people who visited the laboratories, watched demonstrations, soldered and flew with the mission to the Moon.

We wanted to show our visitors what we do at Nokia Kraków. This was a unique opportunity to see for yourself how the world of the latest technologies is created.

We opened our laboratories, where visitors saw our base stations, learned how the Faraday cage works and were able to play the role of a tester and using the climate chamber they could simulate extreme weather conditions and check how our phone behaves. In addition, our employees talked about what we do and made our guests aware that our work affects their lives basically every day.
The workshops conducted with IoT and the basics of electronics were very popular. Children and adults built stations based on a microcontroller and then they had to build the control panel and remote connection with themselves.

The icing on the cake was the flight to the moon. We took visitors on a space journey. They could find out what Nokia would do on the moon and try to steer the original Mars rover.

Next year we will open Nokia again at night, we will be prepared for even more people, and our attractions will surprise once again! See you later!
