FPGA – Summer Trainee (Kraków)

Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. We are looking for trainees with C/C++ knowledge for various business lines.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will contribute to our 5G telecommunication projects. Your daily activities will be related to FPGA systems development – IP design, formal and functional verification, syntheses etc.

Depending on your competencies, measured by qualification test, you’ll be responsible for one of the following tasks:

  • Functional verification, including creation and/or development of test benches
  • RTL synthesis and IP components integration
  • Formal verification of the IP components and/or subsystems

REQUIRED SKILLS

You should have:

  • Active student status
  • Good English and Polish, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of FPGA design
  • Knowledge of System Verilog/Verilog/VHDL
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player spirit

Nice to have:

  • Academic background in OO analysis and design
  • Academic background in Telecommunication
  • Academic background in Digital Signal Processing
  • Basic knowledge about agile methodology

Python Developer – Summer Trainee

We are looking for trainees with Python knowledge for various business lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the development in short-term projects by supporting tools and new features that are part of our ongoing projects. Summer Trainee will act under the guidance of our Technical Leader.

REQUIRED SKILLS

You should have:

  • Active student status
  • Good English and Polish, both spoken and written
  • Open to working full-time during summertime
  • Ability to use the Linux command line in daily routines
  • Basic Python skills, including: Object-oriented programming principles, Installation of Python packages through PIP and APT/Yum, knowledge of how to: create own Python package, connect to REST API and use it inside own application, use SSH, HTTP, or (s)FTP to get data from external source
  • Teamwork skills

Software Tester – Summer Trainee

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will act as a team member in one of our short-term projects supporting tools and new features which are part of our ongoing projects in embedded software.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Development of automated tests
  • Preparation and configuration of testing environment
  • Review and reporting of test results

REQUIRED SKILLS

You have:

  • Active student status
  • Good English
  • Programming skills with Python script language
  • Knowledge of mobile networks standards (e.g., LTE, UMTS, GSM)
  • Practical knowledge of TCP/IP network configuration and its protocols
  • Knowledge of UNIX environment and command line
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Team-player attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Tests automation, development of tools supporting test execution

REQUIRED SKILLS

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Status of student of Telecommunications or a similar subject
  • Knowledge of mobile telecommunication systems such as 5G, LTE-A
  • Knowledge of Unix, Linux (command line)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Networks
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Team player spirit and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with Perl or Python programming language and in test automation
  • Knowledge of 5G architecture, especially gNB network element
  • Familiarity with software testing
  • Knowledge of Robot framework and GIT version control system
