DevOps – Working Student – Space & Defense

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. We are open to flexible working hours so that you can reconcile working with us with your studies. #OpenToYou.

Position: DevOps – Working Student – Space & Defense
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong for the next 12 months)
Location: Poland, Kraków
Education Recommendations: Active student status

Space & Defense team creates solutions for our customers operating in non-terestrial networks, defense and public safety domains. We are looking for Working Student – DevOps to help build and maintain our CI environment.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

What you will learn and contribute to:

  • Maintain CI environment for various software components
  • Develop tools and scripts to automate CI processes
  • Maintain cloud virtualized environment
  • Support development work environment (linux, cloud)
  • Instrumentation of build release process (Software Configuration Management)

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active status student
  • Very good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid coding skills in Bash and Python
  • Unix / Linux user knowledge
  • Good knowledge of git
  • Konwledge of containers and virtualization
  • Teamwork skills
  • Analytical thinking

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (eg. GCP, AWS, OpenStack)
