C++ Developer – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. Position: C++ Developer Co-op/Intern
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong to the next 12 months)
Location: Poland (hybrid in Wroclaw, Krakow or remote)
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate from the field of study as Computer Science, Telecommunication and similar

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Develop supporting tools and new features
  • Take part in implementation of our development & testing frameworks
  • Provide unit tests & module tests for developed software

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active status of student of Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education
  • Good English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of C++ programming
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player spirit

It would be nice if you also had:

  •  Acquaintance with cellular and broadband 3G or 4G access technologies (UMTS, LTE)

Senior Software Engineer (C++) – Space & Defense

MW&CSN (MicroWave & Custom Solutions) Special Projects R&D team focuses on creating customized solutions and developing LTE and 5G commercial RAN and Core products for our customers operating in NTN, defense and public safety domains. NTN project is Nokia co-operation with AST Space Mobile company that enables innovative, direct-to-mobile over-the-satellite communication in 3GPP LTE and 5G standard. Our defense portfolio offers end-to-end, customized tactical solutions for our customers.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Software Engineer, eager to dive in fascinating world of high-end telecommunication technologies. End-to-end perspective, variety of tasks, lightweight processes and direct contact with customers makes these projects challenging and attractive. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Developing, and implementing software utilizing the latest software best practices
  • Implementing cross-component development tests
  • Analyzing and solving complex engineering problems in radio technologies area
  • Occasional participation in creating and reviewing requirements for functional, design and interface specifications based on system specifications
  • Propose, plan and implement product and process improvements
  • Leading and mentoring junir team members
  • Cooperation with Architects, Software Technical Leaders and Test Leads

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • 4-6 years of work experience
  • Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Python/Bash is an advantage
  • Experience with C++ embedded
