DSP Developer – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. Position:  DSP Developer – Working Student
Duration: 12 months with possibility to prolong
Location: Poland, Kraków (hybrid)
Education Recommendations: Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field

The MN RAN R&D L3 SW KRK1 department is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to advancing the capabilities of 4G, 5G, and future generations of mobile networks. We are responsible for the development of new features in Layer 3 (L3) software of BTS, which is crucial for the efficient operation and management of radio access networks. Additionally, we create and maintain In-House simulators’ products that emulate various components of the network, enabling thorough testing and validation of our solutions. Our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives us to push the boundaries of what is possible in mobile network technology.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team you will contribute to our telecommunication projects. Your daily activities will be related to embedded systems development (RTL, formal and functional verification, processes automation).  You will act as a team member of a team that creates inhouse Nokia UE simulator.

You will:

  • Develop knowledge of physical layer (L1 Layer)
  • Implement physical layer telco specification (3gpp standard and O-RAN standard) using DSP
  • Carry out DSP programming using C/C++
  • Gain experience in product development

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You should have:

  • Active student status of Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education (for at least one year)
  • Good English, both spoken and written
  • DSP processors coding skills (programming using C/C++)
  • Analytical and reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player spirit

C++ Developer – Summer Trainee

Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can get your first experience and learn from the best experts in this field. The internship usually lasts 3 months from July to September. We are open to offering the best talents a chance to continue working with us. #OpenToYou

We are looking for trainees with C/C++ knowledge for various business lines.

Position:  C++ Developer – Summer Trainee
Duration: 3 months
Location: Poland, Kraków or Wrocław (hybrid)
Date: 1.07.2025 – 30.09.2025
Education Recommendations: Active student status in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team you will: 

  • Develop supporting tools and new features
  • Take part in implementation of our development & testing frameworks
  • Provide unit tests & module tests for developed software

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active student status
  • Good English and Polish, both spoken and written
  • Ready to work full-time during the summertime
  • Knowledge and experience in C++ programming,
  • Knowledge of IP or mobile networks,
  • Academic background in OO analysis and design,
  • Basic knowledge about agile methodology,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Team player spirit.
