Summer Trainee – Python Developer

Mobile Networks is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). There are a few slightly different departments possibly interested in your experience.

What you will learn and contribute to 

You will be daily responsible for development in short term projects by supporting tools and new features which are part of our ongoing projects. Summer Trainee will act under guidance of our Technical Leader.

Summer Trainee internship is dedicated to candidates with active student status. The internship usually starts on July 1st and ends on 30th of September.

Your skills and experience 

You have:

  • Active students’ status after 2nd year of Bachelor or Engineer degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent education
  • Ability to use Linux command line in daily routines 
  • Basic Python skills, including object-oriented programming principles; installation of Python packages through PIP and APT/Yum; knowledge how to: create own Python package, connect to REST API and use it inside own application, use SSH, HTTP or (s)FTP to get data from external source
  • Teamwork skills
  • Good communication in English (both written and spoken)

Summer Trainee – Matlab Engineer

As part of our team, you will contribute to simulation in Matlab of FPGA functionalities for 5G telecommunication system. Your daily activities will be related to support team in test vectors generation by creation or enhancement of Matlab based scripts.

As part of our team, you will contribute to our 5G telecommunication projects. Your daily activities will be related to FPGA systems development – IP design, formal and functional verification, syntheses etc.

Depending on your competencies, measured by qualification test, you’ll be responsible for one of the following tasks:

  • Functional verification, including creation and/or development of test benches
  • RTL synthesis and IP components integration
  • Formal verification of the IP components and/or subsystems

Your skills and experience

You have:

You will be daily responsible for supporting activities related to business intelligence and R&D key performance indicator data collection, automation, and visualization. The task will be the extension of existing Power BI reports and connecting to new data sources, creating custom visualizations of data where Python or R-language may be helpful. This process will be additionally automated with Power Automation tool where additional data sources are needed or there are email-triggered tasks. Extra tasks if time allows would be a statistical analysis of collected data to spot bottlenecks, challenges in the processes under analysis.

Your skills and experience

You have:
