Integration & Testing – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. Position: Integration & Testing Co-op/Intern
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong to the next 12 months)
Location: Poland (hybrid in Wroclaw or Krakow)
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate from the field of study as Computer Science, Cybersecurity,  Telecommunication and similar

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team, you will: 

  • Test execution to verify software, issues investigation, reporting errors, validating fixes, and analyze requirements and test creation
  • Test automation, and development of tools supporting test execution
  • Work with the newest technologies in the field of equipment and telephones

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active status of student of Telecommunications or a similar subject
  • Good English, both spoken and written
  • ability to hybrid work in Wroclaw or Krakow
  • Knowledge of mobile telecommunication systems such as 5G, LTE-A
  • Knowledge of Unix, Linux (command line)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Networks
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • General knowledge about electrical systems

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with Bash or Python programming language and in test automation
  • Familiarity with software testing
  • Knowledge of GIT version control system

Testing & Lab Support – Working Student

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

We are looking for candidates who would like to gain the experience in testing area and have a possibility to work in our laboratories in Krakow in the MN RAN VRF department

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Taking care of technical and engineering issues inside the laboratory
  • Boost your telecommunication competencies in 5G and its Evolutions
  • Simple electric and logical installation
  • Electronics and electrical devices repairing
  • Internal technical documentation updating
  • Acting as a liaison between the internal teams and the external subcontractors or vendors
  • Soldering works

Additionally you will have a chance to:

  • Analyze features with respect to end-to-end purpose and functionality
  • Design test cases and test scenarios based on requirements specifications
  • Integrate and verify features in a customer-close, end-to-end test lab with real equipment environment
  • Trouble-shoot SW bugs by proper pre-analysis of the faults, deliver traces and log files and verifying the fixes delivered by development

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active student status in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
  • Good communication skills in English – both verbal and written
  • Availability to work from the office (Krakow and Skawina laboratory)
  • Willingness to learn/improve testing techniques and methodologies
  • To be pro-active and self-dependent as a test expert fighting for your feature as well as to be able to work as a team player and support other with your know-how
  • Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and solve complex problems

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Technical background in telecommunications (wireless or fixed networks), system and network performance test processes, test environment setup and debugging methods
  • SEP certificate cat. E1 (is an advantage)
  • Ability to diagnose and service electronics and electrical devices at a basic level
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Soldering skills
