DevOps Engineer – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. We are looking for candidates willing to become a member of the Software Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI&CD) Team. The team which you will be joining is responsible for developing and maintaining a complete CI&CD solution providing tools used for telecommunication software delivery and Network Elements testing. We work with Python, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes. Terraform, Ansible and Zuul CI.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

  • Develop an automated end-to-end CI&CD solution delivering in-house tools used for LTE base station (eNB) and 5G base station (gNB) testing
  • In addition, you will have the opportunity to write your thesis in co-operation with Nokia

REQUIRED SKILLS

You should have:

  • Active status of student of Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Quick learning skills
  • Spoken and written English
  • Very good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Result oriented
  • Responsible and committed

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Telecommunication, LTE and 5G networks
  • Basic knowledge about OpenStack/ Flux CD/ Istio
  • Knowledge about software testing
