Lab&Testing Support – Summer Trainee

Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. You will act as a team member of Krakow 5G Verification department supporting operation in one of our laboratories in Krakow and Skawina.

Position: Lab&Testing Support – Summer Trainee
Duration: 3 months
Location: Poland, Kraków and Skawina
Date: 1.07.2025 – 30.09.2025
Education Recommendations: Active student status in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Handle technical and engineering tasks within the laboratory
  • Take care of the inventory for common laboratory assets
  • Support other laboratory users in their daily work
  • Enhance your telecommunications competencies in 5G and its evolutions
  • Perform simple electrical and logical installations
  • Repair electronic and electrical devices
  • Update internal technical documentation
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external subcontractors or vendors
  • Perform soldering tasks
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Support other laboratory users in their daily work

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active student status (for at least one year)
  • Good communication skills in English – both verbal and written
  • Ready to work full-time during the summertime
  • Availability to work from the office (Krakow and Skawina laboratory
  • Willingness to learn/improve testing techniques and methodologies
  • To be pro-active and self-dependent as a test expert fighting for your feature as well as to be able to work as a team player and support other with your know-how
  • Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and solve complex problems

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Technical background in telecommunications (wireless or fixed networks), system and network performance test processes, test environment setup and debugging methods
  • SEP certificate cat. E1 (is an advantage)
  • Ability to diagnose and service electronics and electrical devices at a basic level
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Soldering skills
  • Experience with 3D printers
