Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
We are seeking proficient candidates to join our esteemed 5G Layer 2 Packet Scheduler development team. As a valued member of our team, you will delve into cutting-edge 5G projects and solutions, with a primary focus on 5G Layer 2 technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our team, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive system and sub-system requirements analysis and decomposition for 5G software.
- Formulate intricate system and software architectures to meet project objectives.
- Develop models, implement, review, and validate software solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration and verification of developed software.
- Identify and troubleshoot software faults with precision.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with software integration engineers to ensure smooth integration and verification within project frameworks.
- Deliver technical trainings to enhance team capabilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS
You should have:
- Proficiency in C++11/14/17 programming languages.
- Familiarity with GCC, Clang, and Linux environments.
- Experience with testing frameworks, JIRA, and version control systems (Git / Gerrit).
- Knowledge of continuous integration systems and real-time embedded systems.
- Outstanding collaboration skills, facilitating effective teamwork.
- Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and motivation to drive end-to-end feature development across organizational boundaries.
- Adaptability to accommodate fluctuations in workload.
- Previous experience in telecom, particularly in LTE/5G technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
